Episode 4 sets up Life is Strange 2 for a strong landing. Sean and Daniel will finally be reaching the end of their tale, whether it leads to a happy ending or not. Faith is the best episode in Life is Strange 2 since the first and holds the promise of a memorable final episode.
It's not. Buy Dying Light 2 or the original Life is Strange, if you feel like it. Remasters are never worth the money. You want "remakes" if you really want to notice improvements - and then, you probably want to just get a new game for the price that's being asked. That said, it's a brilliant game well worth playing - but you may as well just
The more desperate his situation got, the more desperate he was in his relationship with his brother. It was fascinating and often painful to watch. It's the first and only Life is Strange game that makes you feel and think about the powers that show up in them. To stand next to this 10 year old living god was absolutely terrifying experience
Life is Strange 2 continues with episode 2, Rules, and there’s a definite shift in pace after episode 1. It’s worth noting that there are spoilers for episode 2 from this point onwards
In the end, choices like helping Kate, comforting Victoria, or wounding/making peace with Frank are inconsequential. Honestly, the last 10 minutes or so of episode 5 feels like a slap in the face for me as a fan, who invested my time playing Life is Strange, and participating in discussions about the choices/theories etc.
It showcases two strong entries from the burgeoning franchise — Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm — in their entirety, but its release on Switch does little more than
It's worth it. The first four chapters are some of the most unique and special feeling gaming I've played. But the last chapter throws it all away and doesn't come close to living-up to the high bar set by the rest of the game, and instead is like spitting on the previous chapters and is actually one of the very most disappointing and disheartening endings to a game I've experienced.
Wavelengths is a much smaller experience than True Colors, set entirely inside the Haven Springs record store Alex comes to know and love. It’s an intimate look at a period of change in Steph
It's worth noting that the dialogue is the result of French adults trying to write American teenagers. This myth gets thrown around every time that the Life Is Strange dialogue comes up, and its just not true. The lead writer for the game, including the dialogue, is Christian Divine, a California native.
The ultimate includes the 9 episodes of LiS/BtS and 6 of TC/WL bringing it to 15 episodes so the price per episode goes down to only $5.33 and the original game was $5/episode. So it's actually very well priced there. But yeah TC on it's own even with WL is expensive per episode when compared to alternatives. 2.
